These are my favourite cigars for lots of reasons, I love the sweet but spicy flavor. They’re strong, although not overpowering. I am able to smoke once per day and be satisfied. There are just a few known Jamaican cigars around these days, and they appear hard to come by. If the others taste as well as a Macanudo, I may switch, except for now I’m sticking to what I adore.

Typically a fine premium cigar can be rather expensive.  This can make it particullarly troubling to become a true fan for the average blue-collar worker.  Regardless, the standing of being a true connoisseur of premium cigars shouldn’t ever be limited to the higher class.  In short , nobody should have to lose out on a great premium cigar. Some prefer Backwoods Cigars, which are not premium, but have a great aroma.  Fortunately , there are one or two suggestions to save your money when looking to buy fine cigars.  Research and techinque in purchasing can save you plenty on your tops.  If you play it smart, you can get around the high prices.  Instead of purchasing one cigar each two or 3 weeks, start by finding the ideal cigar for you.  Then, save for a fortnight, or even months if the need be.  After you’ve got a substantial amount of money put back, contact your local smoke shop.  If there’s not one in your neighborhood, try surrounding areas.  Each large city has 1 wonderful smoke shop.  Once you have found it, talk to the owner, not the cashier. Tell the owner that you would like one or two boxes or even a case of a particular brand and that if they will give you a price break, you will make this, and all future purchases, at their shop.  Unless the owner is the stingiest person in the world, she or he will go for it.  After you make your purchase, begin saving up again.  You’ll often find that you save up enough to make your next purchase before you finish off your present stash.  This will keep you ahead of the game and give you the facility to try new smokes.  Save your Coins, of course, this sounds silly initially.  However, as it seems, most people finish up losing more than thirty greenbacks worth of change a month.  People who don’t lose it just chuck it to the side somewhere where it ends up getting lost.  You can afford 3 decent smokes in just change.  Make a conscious effort to put the change away in a specific can or jar till the end of the week.  You may be stunned how much you walk off with.  Shop Around, all too frequently we see that one stunning stogie.  You know the one, the perfectly wrapped, oily slick, dark chocolate Robusto.  It is so pretty that we just have to purchase it on sight.  This is a large no-no.  Take note of the cigar, the brand and the format.  Then, go back home and do an internet search and see what you come up with.  Check all the discount web shops.  You are nearly sure to find the one you are seeking at an a lot less price.

Over the weekend, my buddy asked me to try a chocolate flavored cigar with him. I really don’t smoke that much, but when I do, I prefer one that is flavored to a regular cigar.  One of my favorites, CAO Flavored Cigars, tend to have a sweet, but not to overpowering flavor that I really enjoy.  The one that my friend had me try, really was not good. Made by a different manufacturer, whom I had never heard, and the taste of chocolate was obviously imitation.  To me, it really didn’t taste like chocolate at all. I don’t think of myself as being picky, but I have tried a white chocolate cigar before and I liked it. (It was also from a different manufacturer, whom I can’t remember the name, but it was very tasty.)  For some reason the chocolate one he had me try was stale tobacco with imitation chocolate flavoring.  He said he had just bought them, so I am not sure how long they have been in storage, but to me they seemed a bit old and dry.  I have never came across this problem with CAO.  It may be that this cigar was machine made cigar and CAO is handmade.  I didn’t think that made much of a difference, but with these, it may have.  If I try another chocolate cigar, it will definetely be a different brand. These just didn’t do it for me.  Or I will stick with my favorite CAO splash cigars, which have a citrus flavor to them and I highly recommend.

The number one rule of identifying counterfeit Cuban cigars is the long standing pronouncing “caveat emptor” – consumers beware. Always keep this in mind whenever you are buying Havanas, even when you are purchasing them overseas in what appears to be a credible tobacconist’s multinational. Many fake Cuban miami suites cigars are sold from storefronts in countries where they are absolutely legal and sometimes without the understanding of the store owner. Remember counterfeiters are driven by profit potential and regardless of where you are in the world the profit on Cuban cigars is always an alluring target for villains.

All Right, St. Louis has accepted a smoking ban for all public facilities, with only a short list allowances. I’m so done with my constitutional rights being taken away, I’m ill. I don’t understand the reason non-smokers have such a stong personal opinion on what us smokers want to do. I understand that smoking is nasty, but I made a conscience decision when I started smoking, aware of the fact it was bad. Just because non-smokers want me to cease, will not mean that it’s going to happen. Smoking in restaurants has been a favor, but most restaurants have a special smoking room. If non-smokers prefer not to to be in the smoke, don’t eat in the smoking room, you are not forced to sit in the smoking section. And as far as the employees of these bars that say they are distressed by second hand smoke, what a joke. I worked in the hospitality industry for more than 10 years, and I know that the majority of thefellow workers were smokers.  Interacting with people, always, drives you to puff.  Also, I have never heard any non-smoking co-worker ever complain about cigarette smoke while at work in the smoking room. Putting a smoking prohibition in restaurants and bars, will only save me money, because I will not eat out after the the new year.

I have made a decision this christmas to plead for basic Christmas Gifts that my wife can pick out easily for me. My selection, as always, is my well-beloved cigar from Buycigars-online.com. She won’t even have to take leave of the condo, she can go online (I have all my favorites sites saved) and make out the order there. As far as other gifts, she can head over to the local store and pick something up. She says to me every Christmas that I am the most baffling man to purchase for. But we have been married for over 15 years! And if she doesn’t realize the things I admire by now, I quit. I constantly say every December, “get me cigars”, I puff on 1 or 2 in a day, and that adds up. I bought a humidor for holding my cigars, “what’s that for?” my wife askes. Although I have to say, I was blessed with luck last year, my wife gave me a lighter that was ingraved with my initials. The year before, she bought me a fishing pole, unfortunately I said I wanted to go fishing again someday. Well, I went fishing one time in two years, but guess what, I still puff 1-2 cigars every day. So what do I want for my present this year? I want Cigars, and anything else would just be an secondary delight.
